A fitness instructor is gearing up for the big warm-up for this year's Race For Life.
Collette Miller, 25, who runs Rosemary Connolly exercise classes, will lead the aerobic workout in Worden Park, Leyland, for the hundreds of women taking part in the 5km race in aid of Cancer Research. Mrs Miller, who has classes in Chorley, took part in the Citizen-backed race last year, and raised more than £150.
She said: "I think all women should take part in this event because it's a fantastic cause which allows people to bond and learn about each other's experiences.
"The sense of achievement is great and all the money raised is hopefully going towards finding a cure for something which affects so many people."
Collette, 25, who lives with her husband Matthew in Preston, has her own reason for supporting the event.
Worden Park race will host two races on Sunday, July 6. So far 1,988 women have signed up for the race.
