Games review: Flower, PS3, £6.29

There’s not really anything like Flower, unless you can detect the style of Flow, also by the same developers.

This download challenges gaming conventions, delivering simple gameplay, accessible controls and a medium to explore emotional chords that you wouldn’t really expect to find in video games.

Playing as the wind, of all things, you must guide and grow a swarm of petals by interacting with other flowers and the surrounding environment.

Tilting the wireless controller is all you need to do as you navigate around the 200,000 individually simulated blades of grass.
