CHORLEY actors are following the sell-out run of Willy Russell’s play Blood Brothers in June with a lesser known work from the writer, from October 19 to 23.
The rare 1975 comedy Breezeblock Park is set on a Liverpudlian estate as a family gathers for Christmas.
Chorley Amateur Operatic and Dramatic Society’s Ian Robinson said: “Breezeblock Park clearly influenced TV shows like The Royle Family.”
* Breezeblock Park is at Chorley Little Theatre from Tuesday, October 19 until Saturday, October 23 at 7.30pm. Tickets cost £5 Tuesday and Wednesday, and £8 Thursday to Saturday. Call Malcolm’s Musicland on 01257 264362 or go to www.chorleylittletheatre.com
