Oscar-winning writer-director Jane Campion ventures back to the early 19th century to compose this emotionally-wrought valentine to John Keats and his lover Fanny Brawne (played by Ben Whishaw and Abbie Cornish).
Based on Sir Andrew Motion’s biography of the poet, Bright Star is a haunting portrait of two fragile souls denied happiness by virtue of their precarious social standing.
