UK heavy metal legends Saxon have announced a show at Preston Degrees in November — one of only three solo dates in the country.
Saxon, frontrunners of the 1970s New Wave of British Heavy Metal craze, break away from their tour with metal legends Motorhead to play their Lancashire date on Saturday, November 23.
Saxon influenced rockers from Metallica to Guns and Roses, and aim to revisit audiences in places where they last played decades earlier in tribute to loyal fans. Singer Biff Byford said: “We’re looking forward to coming to play in Lancashire again. We always enjoy gigs in the north.”
