Nicole Scherzinger has said that her new album reflects her feelings over her on-off relationship with Lewis Hamilton.
The ex-Pussycat Doll and the Formula 1 racing driver have split up several times before rekindling their romance.
Nicole, 36, told the Daily Mirror that new record, Big Fat Lie, "is a personal album to me".
"I'd say it's a reflection of how I've felt over the past couple of years. Sometimes love makes you feel amazing - it makes you feel like 'I need you and you need me'," she said.
"But sometimes it's like my song Run, when you have to run from your own fears and somebody that's getting on your nerves."
The former X Factor judge said of making the album: "It's been a cathartic experience... Sometimes you feel so alone. But I've turned to music and I feel like it's taught me a lot."
And she said that one song in particular, Electric Blue, with the lyric "at night all I think about is you", describes how she feels about Lewis.
