Danny Dyer has apologised to fans after he pulled out a book signing amid cheating claims.

The EastEnders star was due to meet fans at Bluewater shopping centre in Kent on June 22 to promote the publication of his new book, The Films Of Danny Dyer, but failed to turn up after the Sunday Mirror published a story claiming he had cheated on his partner with a 21-year-old student.

Danny tweeted: "Sorry 2 those who came 2 blue water today. I feel terrible. My family want 2 thank the Sunday Mirror 4 making this the best day ever #lies."

The 36-year-old actor has three children with his childhood sweetheart Joanne Mas, who he has been in a relationship with for 19 years.

The actor has previously admitted cheating on Joanne, who he describes as his "rock" in his autobiography.
