Oscar winner Matthew McConaughey has picked up another award to add to his burgeoning trophy collection - scooping best actor at the Crime Thriller Awards.
The Hollywood star, 44, was given the accolade for his role in the acclaimed series True Detective.
Keeley Hawes picked up the best actress gong at the glitzy awards ceremony for her role in British police drama Line Of Duty.
Stars from the big screen congregated at the five-star Grosvenor House Hotel in London's exclusive Park Lane to celebrate the best in crime fiction and drama at the ceremony, hosted by Bradley Walsh.
For the first time at the Specsavers-sponsored ceremony, a whole series, ITV's Midsomer Murders, was inducted into the Hall of Fame, with the cast and crew out in force to collect their award.
Amanda Ross, managing director of Cactus TV, creator of the awards, said: "This is the most popular genre of fiction on the screen and in print, so it's great to be able to honour its true stars."
Crime legends Denise Mina and Robert Harris, who have penned some of Britain's most nail-biting tales, were inducted into the Hall of Fame at the awards ceremony in recognition of their contributions to the genre.
The book club best read of the year was awarded to Peter May for Entry Island. And the gong for best crime novel went to Wiley Cash for debut novel This Dark Road To Mercy, a story of blood and vengeance involving two young sisters.
