Katniss Everdeen has arrived.
Who cares if she isn’t armed with her bow and arrow, and has swapped her warrior’s gear for a rather cute high-low hem white Dior dress with black floral embellishments.
That’s right, the highly anticipated The Hunger Games: Mockingjay Part 1 film is finally here and Jennifer Lawrence blew everyone away at Odeon in Leicester Square.
The actress plays Katniss Everdeen, a plucky heroine in trilogy by Suzanne Collins, who is fighting for survival in a rather dystopian world.
Fans couldn’t wait to see a glimpse of the Oscar-winning star as she made her way to the theatre working the red carpet glamour.
Looking absolutely stunning in her monochrome ensemble, the 24-year-old complemented her gown with a black headband and strappy stilettos and obliged her hysterical fans with autographs.
It seems she is as skilful with a pen as she is with her bow and arrow – some fans were surprised how swift she was in signing autographs.
Jennifer told the crowd: “It’s amazing to see so many fans here. Someone gave me a photo of a Shetland pony to sign. I don’t know what it means but it’s still making me laugh now.”
And there was some concern about whether she’d take a tumble at some point (again).
Thankfully she hasn’t so far (although we’d love her no less if she did!).
