Fiona Phillips was left blushing and “feeling young again” after 23-year-old EastEnders star Harry Reid called her “darling” during an interview.
The 54-year-old presenter was chatting to the young soap hunk – who plays Ben Mitchell on the BBC soap – on ITV’s Lorraine when he turned on the cockney charm and dropped in a “darling” as he answered one of her questions.
Fiona blushed and feigned offence, joking: “Darling! How overfamiliar! Honestly!”
Harry replied: “I can’t help myself, I’m sorry.”
Fiona told him: “No, that is lovely. I feel all young again now!” and giggled coyly as the interview continued.
Viewers were amused by the exchange as well.
