I am writing to let your readers know that while some studies suggest up to a quarter of us do not eat breakfast at all, it is a very important meal.
As well as being able to make improvements to our general wellbeing, it is also a chance to get some fruit and vegetables into our diets.
This is important because scientific research has shown that eating plenty of fruits and vegetables probably reduces cancer risk. This is why World Cancer Research Fund recommends eating at least five portions a day of a variety of different fruits and vegetables.
With this in mind, we have produced a publication called Breakfast Boosts, which gives ideas for dishes to start the day that are healthy as well as tasting great.
We have free copies to give away to the first 100 readers who call 020 7343 4205 and quote "media".
