Send rowdy students to Blackpool

Am I the only one who has noticed that the so-called credit crunch and the shortage of funds for most people is no having any affect whatsoever on the student population of Preston.

Taxis to and from their watering hole, 53 Degrees at all hours of the morning.

Then when they finally have to return to their places of abode, they are not satisfied until they have woken up all of their neighbours, young and old.

They should all be found accommodation at little Blackpool.

Mrs T Moss, Brook Street, Preston

You are too hard on students. Most are hard working people studying for a better life. As a student I am poorly funded by this excuse for a government and cannot afford a night in my local unless I sit with a cheap soft drink for the night. I certainly cannot afford the student night club.
however, many that do use that nightspot, accually have full time jobs and are not full time students, whilst others have other incomes from well funded families or all the extra grants that foreign students can claim that a single student of british birth cannot claim.
