I wonder if anyone one is in the position to give me an answer to what I consider is a very straightforward query.
For a very long period of time we have had a gentleman who sites himself outside the South Ribble Council offices in Leyland who feels very strongly that the council for some reason is corrupt.
He is so convinced that this is true, he is prepared to display his accusation on a sandwich board draped from his shoulders.
Now the query is this, if our accuser is telling a blatant lie, why has the council legal team not taken steps to threaten him with legal proceedings unless he withdraws his accusation forthwith.
It makes one think he must have some evidence of wrongdoing otherwise this saga could not possibly have gone on for so long.

Right or wrong, since the start of his protest there have been elections. The public have made their choices on who sits in council. the time has come for him to accept that his point has been made to ALL LEYLAND. Time to go with your head held high for a long stance on grounds of principle. But go - get your life back and let this protext go.
