Personal Overview - Former MEP whose constituency area included Preston, who has been elected to the House of Commons in this traditionally safe Labour seat. He has served in Local Government, and is likely to maintain a strong interest in social justice issues, particularly after 'seeing the wasted potential' of many people he knew as he was growing up.
