A CONSULTATION period into plans to build four houses on a Longridge pub car park ends next week.
The plans for the development at the Duke William Hotel have been submitted to Ribble Valley Borough Council by NGJ Holdings Ltd.
Residents have until Monday to register their comments. Longridge Town Council said it had no objections.
In a statement, agents PGB Architectural Services Ltd said: “The proposed dwellings are considered to be well designed and sympathetic to their surroundings while using materials which are in keeping with the area, they are of an appropriate scale that is entirely in keeping with the local context.
“By virtue of the dwellings position on the site, it avoids any unacceptable impact on the adjacent properties and their amenity.”
The plans are due to be discussed by Ribble Valley Borough Council in the next few months.
