A MAN has been taken to Royal Preston Hospital with head injuries after a hit and run in Blackburn.
The man, believed to be in his 20s, was hit after arguing with a group in a Volkswagen car in Montague Street at around 2.50pm this afternoon.

Eye witnesses said the car mounted the pavement as it reversed back towards the man, smashing a wooden barrier in the process.
As it made off the Volkswagen crashed into traffic lights in Fielden Street and the occupiers of the car escaped on foot.
