A MAN threatened to pour fuel on his girlfriend and set her on fire.
Blackburn magistrates heard Tara Arthur called police when she saw Michael Joseph Horrocks with a petrol can in his hand.

Horrocks, 28, of Eastwood Avenue, Blackpool, pleaded guilty to assaulting Tara Arthur and damaging her car. The incident happened in East Lancashire.
He was made subject to community supervision for 12 months with a 35 day rehabilitation requirement, ordered to do 120 hours unpaid work and pay £125 compensation, £150 costs, £150 criminal court charge and £60 victim surcharge.
