BLACKBURN Rovers have signed winger Modou Barrow on a three-month loan deal from Premier League outfit Swansea City.

The 22-year-old Gambia international played against Rovers twice last season.

He was part of the Swansea side which were beaten 3-1 by Gary Bowyer’s boys in the FA Cup fourth round.

And Barrow returned to Ewood Park later in the campaign when he was on loan at Nottingham Forest.

He produced a livewire performance as Forest fought back on three separate occasions to earn a 3-3 draw.

Barrow has been given permission to play for Rovers in tomorrow's Capital One Cup first-round tie at home to Shrewsbury Town if international clearance is received in time.
