TWO men and a woman arrested on suspicion of murdering a Darwen man have been released without charge.
A 36-year-old man has also been released on police bail pending further inquiries after Neil Francis Walsh, 47, of Clement Street, Darwen, was found dead at a friend's house in Harwood Street, Darwen.
Police launched a murder inquiry after the victim suffered a stab wound to his right leg.
They are now preparing a file to be passed to the Crown Prosecution Service for their consideration.
Detective Superintendent Mick Gradwell, senior investigating officer, said: "Two men and a woman have been released without charge.
"A 36-year-old man has been released on police bail for six weeks while further inquiries are carried out and forensic evidence is looked at."
