A DRINK driver who struck on a suspended sentence kept his freedom - but still has the term hanging over him.
Matthew Heywood, 18, of Cromer Avenue, Burnley, admitted driving with excess alcohol, no insurance and no licence.
A reading showed 71 microgrammes of alcohol in 100 mililitres of breath - the legal limit is 35.
He was given a 180 day curfew, seven days a week, between 9pm and 6am and 40 hours unpaid work.
He must also pay £150 fine and £50 costs.
