A 19-YEAR-OLD woman escaped with a fine after she threatened police with a knife.
The incident happened in Reed Street, Burnley, at 2.30am on Sunday after officers went to investigate reports of a couple fighting.
They said they were threatened by a female wielding a knife.
The woman, from Burnley, was arrested at the scene and later issued with a fixed penalty notice and discharged.
