DARWEN ambassadors for Macmillan Cancer Support are urging people to join the annual World's Biggest Coffee Morning.
Organisers, including Brenda Cronshaw from Brenda's Collectables, in Darwen Market, are asking everyone in the town to join in the event on September 28.
Brenda said: "We hope people in Darwen will raise funds for the World's Biggest Coffee Morning.
"If people cannot hold a coffee morning on Friday they can choose their own day."
Helen Yates, Macmillan fundraising manager for East Lancashire, said: "Anyone can take part. We want as many people as possible to put the kettle on and enjoy a coffee for Macmillan Cancer Support.
"You can hold a coffee morning at your school, at work, in your church hall or simply at home with your friends. Every cup counts."
