The jury in the case of a barrister accused of launching a ferocious attack on a Blackburn man at a wedding party has been sent home for the night.
David Baird-Dean has claimed that lawyer Christopher Dunn repeatedly punched him as he lay pinned to the ground.
The prosecution say he suffered facial bone fractures of the type normally seen road crash victims.
Dunn, 40, of Morley, Leeds denies grievous bodily harm with intent and an alternative charge of causing grievous bodily harm.
The prosecution claim that he attacked Mr Baird-Dean, having been niggled about allegedly exposing himself to guests at the Harefield Hall hotel in Pateley Bridge, North Yorkshire.
The defendant denies that any flashing incident occured. He claims that the other man went at him and he had thrown some punches in self defence.
The jury is due to continue its deliberations tomorrow.
