A Preston bingo caller is hoping his numbers come up as he competes to be the best in the business.
Allen Musa, of the Buckingham Bingo hall in New Hall Lane, is in the North West final of Bingo Caller of the Year after impressing judges with a DVD of himself in action.
He will now compete against callers from across the region in Bolton on September 19 where he's hoping to secure a place in the national final in London in November.
He said: "I think I would be a great ambassador for the bingo world and would set the kind of high standard that no other caller would be able to match.
"It's all about confidence and that is something you have to have in this business.
"It is great to work at the club because it is really state of the art and there is a great crowd comes here and seem to like the fact that I am a Scouser working in Preston.
"We will have a coachload of folk at the event in Bolton so there will be plenty of support on the night."
And if Allen, who has more than 15 years' experience as a caller having worked at the Mecca Bingo in Liverpool for many years, scoops the national prize, he will win a dream trip to Los Angeles and Las Vegas, where he will have the chance to call a game at a famous Vegas casino.
He said: "It will be the chance of a lifetime but it's not all about the winning though, its about taking part."
If successful, Allen, who lives in Liverpool, will also walk away with the Caller of the Year trophy.
