Former Stone Roses legend Ian Brown could be going back to prison in Preston.
Brown, who performed to a packed Guild Hall last Saturday, has revealed that he is looking to play a gig at Preston Prison as part of a mini tour.
The star, best known for Stone Roses hits Fools Gold, She Bangs The Drum and Resurrection, spent a fortnight at Kirkham Prison in 1998 when he was jailed for an air rage incident in which he allegedly threatened an air hostess.
A spokesman at the prison said that it was looking into staging a small gig and workshop, with proceeds possibly going to charity, but no details had been confirmed.
If the gig goes ahead, then Brown will follow in the footsteps of country legend Johnny Cash who famously performed a series of gigs in US prisons and released two albums of his prison shows.
