Police have charged a man after a stop and search uncovered drugs and a “makeshift knuckle duster”.
A 28-year old was stopped at Preston Station, after a drug detection dog indicated on him.
Police found some cannabis and a makeshift knuckle duster. He was arrested and charged with possession of a controlled drug and offensive weapon. He is set to appear in court
A spokesperson for the British Transport Police said: “A 28-year old male was stopped at Preston after a drug detection dog indicated on him.
“A stop search led to the discovery of some cannabis and also a makeshift knuckle duster. He was arrested, charged with possession of a controlled drug and offensive weapon. Remanded for court.”
