A man led police on a 120mph pursuit along the M65 after failing to stop for them.
Police have arrested a 27-year-old man from Nelson on suspicion of dangerous driving, failing to stop, driving whilst disqualified, driving without insurance, and possession of cannabis.
On April 8, officers signalled for the driver of a Volkswagen Passat to stop in Nelson, having noticed them speeding.
The driver failed to stop and sped through a 30mph zone at double the speed limit before entering the motorway.
Here, they reached speeds of up to 120mph.
The car was eventually brought to a stop. The driver has since been released under investigation.
