A man has been arrested after a suspected XL Bully-type dog attacked a woman.
Police, including armed officers, were called to an address in Havelock Street, Blackpool, at around 5.30pm yesterday (April 15) to reports that a woman had been bitten by a dog.
A man in his 40s was arrested at the property on suspicion of having a dog dangerously out of control and remains in custody.
A dog, which police suspect to be an XL Bully type, was seized from the address.
The woman, in her 20s, was taken to hospital for treatment on a dog bite injury to her hand.
