A WOMAN who called police to a domestic incident ended up being arrested.

Blackburn magistrates heard Hannah Kasim was at the home of her ex-partner and she was asked to leave by officers.

She provided an alternative address but the owner refused to let her in because she was drunk.

She was then taken to Royal Blackburn Hospital where she was swearing and being aggressive.

A nurse refused her entry because there was no identified medical need and she was arrested for being drunk and disorderly as her behaviour deteriorated even further.

Kasim, 36, of Wordsworth Drive, Great Harwood, pleaded guilty to being drunk and disorderly. She was fined £80 with £32 victim surcharge.

Kasim, who was not represented, said she was alcohol dependent and didn't remember anything of the incident.

"At the moment I am just struggling with life in general," she said. "I am trying to get involved with Inspire."
