A former Preston careers advisor is launching her new career as a networking coach.

Sabiha Rashid is planning to showcase her new business on June 2 at the city’s Sakura’s Restaurant, in Fishergate.

Sabiha has joined networking coach, Kintish, and will be the franchisee for Lancashire, operating under her business name, Green Banana.

As a networking coach, she will work with business professionals coaching them on how to build key relationships effectively and with confidence.

Sabiha said: “Successful enterprises have been built up because the managing director or partners were excellent networkers.

“It is with a very powerful tool but many business people are afraid to network, do not know how to or simply have little idea what is involved – that is where I can help.” “I want to tap into the Asian and female business community because these groups are under represented at networking events.

“I particularly want to work with young entrepreneurs and graduates as my past career has involved working with young people,” added Sabiha who worked at UCLan before going it alone.

Will Kintish, founder and managing director of Kintish, said: “I feel Sabiha offers a blend of confidence, humour, energy, intelligence, excellent presentation skills and a solid appreciation of business. I am sure she will build an excellent reputation and career for herself.” Those wishing to support Sabiha and learn more about being an effective networker can attend for free if a place is reserved in advance by contacting her on 01772 322332 or sabiha@greenbanana.eu
