Free advice for South Ribble businesses

South Ribble Economic Partnership is inviting local businesses to attend a free networking event at the Civic Centre, West Paddock, Leyland, where they will hear from local businesses experts on how to make choices that could benefit their businesses.

The Evolving to Survive event begins at 5.15pm on tonight and will feature Amanda Hankinson from Tenon Group plc, who will advise delegates about running a business successfully in the current economic crisis.

Sue Sharp from Sharp Marketing who will be looking at how effective marketing can help businesses during this time.

Councillor Cliff Hughes, cabinet member with responsibility for regeneration and planning, said: “We want to help local businesses get through this tough economic period and an event like this will hopefully provide vital information and advice that business owners can use every day.

"It will be a great opportunity for those who attend to meet like-minded people and discuss how each of them has been affected by the recent economic challenges.”
