BURNLEY midfielder Micah Hyde has received a call-up to the Jamaican squad for their forthcoming World Cup qualifying game against the USA.

The match is being played in Kingston on Wednesday, August 18, meaning Hyde must fly out from London with the rest of his international colleagues following Burnley's game with Watford at Vicarage Road tomorrow.

Hyde will, however, return to England on Thursday, August 19, in time to hopefully play a part in Burnley's home game with Wolverhampton Wanderers that weekend.

However, Hyde's call-up means he now misses the Stan Ternent testimonial game with Manchester United at Turf Moor on Tuesday evening.

Hyde's call-up gives Clarets boss Steve Cotterill another headache for the tribute game, with three other first-team regulars potentially joining their countries' squads.

Goalkeeper Danny Coyne has been selected for Wales, midfielder Richard Chaplow has been summoned to an England Under 20 training camp and summer signing Michael Duff is on stand-by for Northern Ireland.
