WHITEFIELD Horticultural Society's 90th annual summer show takes place on Saturday, August 21.
The show is open to the public from 2pm and features exhibits of vegetables, fruit, plants, floral arrangements, children's classes, cookery and handicrafts.
Held in the school room at Whitefield Methodist Church, in Elms Street, the show is open to members and non-members of the society.
Exhibitors are invited to stage their entries on Friday, August 20 between 7pm and 9pm or on the day from 8am to 11.30am.
Charge for each entry is 20p and prizes will be presented at 4pm. For more details contact Mr C. Cox on 0161 766 5032.
