Clarets keeper Danny Coyne has warned Watford: We're coming for all three points.

Burnley - with draws in their opening two games - travel to the Hornets on Saturday, and new signing Coyne said: "The squad is pulling together, getting to know each other's games and things are working out well. Confidence is high."

DANNY Coyne insists confidence in the Clarets camp is growing with every game.

Welsh goalkeeper Coyne battled through the pain barrier to protect Burnley's unbeaten league start to the season at Rotherham on Tuesday.

And after registering the club's first clean sheet under new boss Steve Cotterill, Coyne warned Watford that victory is now the target at Vicarage Road this weekend.

"We're getting a bit frustrated with ourselves because we should be going and winning games like Rotherham," said Coyne.

"It won't come overnight and it's going to take time, we all know that deep down. But we're all pulling together, getting to know each other's games and things are working out well.

"You never want to get beat in the first game of the season and we got a draw, and we've got another result in the second, away from home, so we're pleased."

Summer signing Coyne has repaid Cotterill's faith with two stunning performances in the 1-1 opening day draw with Sheffield United and the stalemate at Millmoor earlier this week.

And the former Leicester City stopper, who was a major doubt ahead of the trip to Rotherham with an ankle injury, was delighted to come through the game unscathed with his first shut-out intact.

"I went over on the ankle on Saturday," he explained. "I slipped and went over on it in a goalmouth scramble, but it felt a lot better before the game and I just got on with it.

"It was a bit sore on Sunday, but obviously you want to play because you need games to be as consistent as you can.

"That's what I'm looking for - and as many clean sheets as we can get, so we're made up to get one in only the second game."
