BLACKBURN'S Lions Gala was a roaring success when more than 10,000 people people flocked to Witton Park.
The day was described as "the best they had ever had" raising £5,000 for charity.
The money hoped to go toward a child cardiac centre and CCTV cameras at Blackburn Health centre.
Morris dancers, Longridge brass band and a display by Darwen Olympic gymnast club entertained on the day.
