THE mascot of a Ramsbottom shop has been ab-duckted!
The two-foot tall, wood-carved character, resembling Donald Duck's father, was stolen during the early hours of Monday.
Now the owners of Puddleducks children's clothing shop in Bolton Street, are offering a £100 reward for return of the duck ,which has been a familiar model in the display window for the last eight years.
At approximately 1.30am, residents saw a youth run from the opposite side of the road and smash into the reinforced display window using a concrete bollard as a battering ram. He smashed a hole and grabbed the £80 duck.
Shop owner Mrs Andrea Barcroft, said: " We just want him back."
Anyone who can help should ring Ramsbottom police on 0161 856 8181 or call Crimestoppers on 0800 555 111.
