THE dreams of Bury couple Darren Foster and his fiancee Sam Lilley are gradually becoming a reality as they explore their wedding location.

The couple, who were chosen by millions of viewers for GMTV's Wedding of 2004, jetted off to Cyprus on Wednesday, where they have been visiting the chapel where they will tie the knot live on the ITV show on September 3.

Darren, aged 31, from Radcliffe, and Sam, aged 23, from Hollins, Bury, have been staying at the same four star hotel in Paphos where they will stay prior to the big day and have seen the luxury suite they will occupy for their honeymoon.

Still in shock at how quickly things are moving, the couple, who have been together for five years and engaged for three, are struggling to take it all in.

Speaking from Paphos, Darren, who works at his dad's barbers shop in Manchester Road, said: "It's been amazing. We went to see the chapel and it was absolutely beautiful. So intimate and romantic -- the viewers definitely made the right choice for us."

The cameras have been following the couple's every move as they film footage for forthcoming weeks, when viewers have the chance to choose invitations, food, flowers and the cake.

Darren said: "We are getting quite used to the cameras now."

"We went to see the cakes and they are all amazing. It's hard not to have a favourite, but we know we will be happy with whatever the viewers decide."

On the day, Ann Summers shop assistant Sam will arrive at St George's Chapel in a traditional Cypriot horse and cart -- something she has always dreamed of according to Darren.

The wedding will continue along the Cypriot theme, with the best man having to learn to balance glasses on his head instead composing the usual speech.

Darren said: "We are in the process of arranging for close family and friends to come out for the wedding. Everyone at the hotel has been brilliant, we really have been treated like royalty.

"It is so dreamy out here, we couldn't wish for anything more."

Voting resumes next week, when the public will be choosing the wedding invitations.
