BOSSES at Burnley-based used car firm Auction4Cars said sales rose 21 per cent last month in a sign the market is improving.
The company, which is based on the site of Motorpoint in Rose Grove Lane, said figures were now at a six-month high.
Auction4Cars mostly sells to people in the trade, although individual buyers use it too.
It said that although sales rose, the average price in September was £2,453, five per cent down, suggesting that demand was high but traders were reluctant to pay high prices.
Group disposal manager Neil Prescott said: “It’s been a very encouraging month of sales.”
