BRAVE souls are in for a treat when a scare attraction opens on a farm this weekend.

A 10-acre site at Hawkshaw Farm Park, in Clayton-le-Dale, has been converted into a ‘thrilling family venue’ once more after last year’s success.

Six attractions are in place and thousands of tickets have been sold at the park – which is also home to Mrs Dowson’s Ice Cream.

Ribble Valley mayor Lois Rimmer was one of the first to witness this year’s ‘spooktacular’.

Special guests have already entered the eerie cornfield attraction, Unhallowed Hill, which is riddled with creepy characters, special effects and chilling Hallowe’en horror noises.

Other fright sights include the darkened passages of Tingler’s Toy Factory and Hellfire Hall.

Scare Kingdom Scream Park, is the brainchild of TV presenter Jason Karl, who has worked on Living TV’s Most Haunted and ITV’s Haunted Hallowe’en Live.

* The Scare Kingdom Scream Park is at Hawkshaw Farm Park, in Clayton-le-Dale, from Friday, October 22 to November 6.
