THE children of a couple killed when their motorbike crashed in the Ribble Valley have paid tribute to their “kind and loving” parents.

Keith Lowcock, 55, and his wife, Elaine, 48, from Heywood, near Rochdale, died after being thrown from their Honda CBR 1100 on the A682 Burnley Road in Gisburn on Saturday.

Police said the couple were riding down Burnley Road towards Barrowford at about 5.30pm when they lost control on a left-hand bend close to Howgill Lane and hit a wire fence.

Speaking in a joint statement, Christopher Lowcock, 29, and Lindsay Lowcock, 24, said: “No words can truly express this devastating and endless loss of our mother and father.

“We feel empty without them and we will feel empty until the day we meet once more.

“They were kind and loving people. They were married for 30 years.”

Anyone who witnessed the incident should call Lancashire Police on 08451 253545.
