CHANGES to Great Harwood’s Tesco store have been approved by planners.
The supermarket giant requested Hyndburn Council to approve a raft of improvements, which have now been given the go-ahead.
Planners approved a number of changes including extra parking, a reconfigured service yard, an ATM pod, additional landscaping, ram raid bollards and a changed recycling area at the Queen Street store.
Tesco also requested an extended boundary wall along Queen Street, which has been approved under delegated powers.
The changes are in addition to original proposals approved by Hyndburn planning committee for the 4,900 square metre store in June 2009.
