A polytunnel stolen from charity fundraiser Caitlin Jones is to be replaced.
Caitlin, 15, of Somerset Avenue, Darwen, was left heartbroken after the equipment in an allotment near her home was stolen overnight last month.
It was the last thing her father Nigel built before his death from lung cancer in February 2008.
After reading an appeal for its return in the Lancashire Telegraph, bosses at Agapao, in Bury Road, Haslingden, are replacing the polytunnel with a polycarbonate greenhouse that is more difficult to move.
Charity workers hope to erect it next week and 15 BAE staff have also volunteered to spruce up the plot.
Caitlin’s mum, Tracy, said: “We’re hoping to give the allotment a big makeover, and would appreciate any donations of wood, soil, gravel and greenhouse shelves.”
