POLICE raided a lock-up where stolen high-powered cars were taken to be stripped down before being sold on.
Officers executed a warrant at the lock up in Kay Street mill, Darwen.
Cars recovered include a BMW X3, a Porsche and two Audi engines.
Sgt Mark Thackeray-Scott of Darwen police said the high powered cars were sold on in parts to make it harder for the stolen vehicles, all from Manchester addresses, to be traced.
A 36-year-old man has been arrested and released on police bail pending further inquiries.
