A SUSPECT in a pub assault which left a man with a facial, rib and shoulder fractures is wanted by police.
Officers investigating the attack in the Manxman pub in Manxman Road, Blackburn, want to speak to Craig Birney in connection with the incident on August 20.
The victim, a 54-year-old man received a broken nose and fractures to his shoulder, ribs, eye socket and cheekbone.
He was treated at the Royal Blackburn Hospital.
DC Lee Wood said: “I would appeal to anyone who has information about where Craig Birney may be to come forward and contact the police. It is important that we speak to him in connection with this incident.
“I would also appeal direct to Craig and ask him to get in touch with us.
"This matter needs to be resolved and the sooner we speak to him the sooner we can progress our inquiry.”
