AN AWARD-WINNING Burnley butcher has won more prizes for his sausages.
Berkins Butchers scooped seven gold awards and two silvers in two different competitions last week.
They won honours at the Pork Sausage of the Year and the Banger Awards for their pork sausage, pork, leek and black pudding, lemon and lime with marmalade and ginger, pork, whisky and marmalade, pork, sage and red onion.
Stephen Berkins, owner of the butchers, in Rosegrove Lane, said: “It is a great achievement and we are delighted to have won these awards.”
