A MAN managed to crawl out of his car after it came off the road and landed on its roof down an embankment this afternoon.
The incident, involving a silver Vauxhall Corsa, happened just after 1pm on the A671 Bacup Road in Bacup, near to Deerplay Quarry.
The car came to a rest 20 metres from the road.
Police said no other vehicles were involved and the man was conscious and talking when paramedics arrived.
