A 49-YEAR-OLD man who grew 26 cannabis plants at his home, is facing a trial over the facts.
Ian Timothy Williams, of Station Road, Padiham, who is said to have a medical condition, claimed the drugs were for his own use, but the prosecution did not believe him.
Williams admitted producing cannabis, possessing the drug and abstracting electricity, at Burnley Crown Court.
The defendant, who has no previous convictions, claimed he had got information off the internet and the cultivation effectively became a hobby.
He was bailed until November 24.
