PLANS have been submitted to carry out masonry repairs to the stonework at Clitheroe Library.
The proposals submitted to Ribble Valley Council include window repairs and minor internal work to the glazing.
The library, on the corner of Church Street and York Street, was built in 1905, with funding provided by the Carnegie Trust. It is composed of several buildings of various ages ranging from the early 17th to early 20th Century.
In 1990 the Grade Two listed building underwent a major refurbishment and it was extended into the adjacent building.
