A CHORLEY dance teacher has admitted sexual activity with an under-age girl.
Christopher Francis Freeman, 59, of Evergreen Close, Chorley, admitted four counts of non penetrative sexual activity with a 14-year-old girl between August and December last year.
He pleaded guilty before Ormskirk magistrates last week and will be sentenced on March 15.
When the allegations came to light, Freeman was arrested on Christmas Eve.
The dance company he ran in Chorley closed. Freeman has represented England in dance competitions and has won titles across the country.
He won the British Championship for four years in a row before he turned professional after first taking up dance lessons more than 30 years ago.
