A former Preston Catholic priest has been charged with abusing 10 children during his ministry in Deepdale.
Fr Edmund Cotter, formerly of St Gregory's RC Church in Blackpool Road, will appear at Preston Magistrates' Court on Wednesday, charged with indecently assaulting nine girls and boy in the 1970s and 1980s.
Cotter, 60, remains on bail, with the condition that he must not have unsupervised contact with anyone under the age of 16.
